Day 11: 

  1. Saints and Doctors, Anselm, Proslogion, pp. 24-26. Narrate each section.

  2. Senior Thesis: Chapter 3: Find Your Issue, pp. 23-25. Read. 

  3. Dante, Inferno, Canto VIII. (Audio, the last one of these, alas) Narrate. 

  4. Huckleberry Finn, Chapters 13-14. Narrate

  5. Psalm 11 Narrate

  6. Ben, Duolingo German, 30 minutes

  7. Rachel, Great Expectations


Day 12: 

  1. Isaiah 7-9 Narrate each reading

  2. Senior Thesis, Workshop pp. 26-28

    1. Read p. 26 carefully, paying attention to the relationship between the topic and the issues connected to it

    2. Turn to p. 27 and do the exercise. 

    3. I think it is probably easiest just to do this exercise on the page, in the space provided, so do that. 

    4. Turn to p. 28 and do the “Two Sides” exercise on this page, using the space provided

  3. Dante, Inferno, Canto IX. Narrate. 

  4. Essay: “How a Generation Lost Its Common Culture.” Narrate. 

  5. Psalm 12 Narrate

  6. Ben, Duolingo German, 30 minutes

Day 13: 

  1. Matthew 9-12 Narrate each reading

  2. Senior Thesis, Assignment pp. 29-31

    1. Read p. 29, filling in blanks as you go, as prompted. 

    2. Turn to p. 30, read Thesis Statement Tips and examples. 

    3. Continue to p. 31, filling in your original thesis statement and a revision of that statement at the bottom. (remember that you can change anything at any time – the point is to write SOMETHING down now).

  4. Huckleberry Finn, Chapters 15-16 Narrate

  5. Psalm 13 Narrate

Day 14: 

  1. Hebrews 7-9 Narrate each reading

  2. Senior Thesis, Assignment pp. 32-33

    1. Read the assignment and examples carefully on p. 32

    2. Fill in the blanks as directed on p. 32, continuing to p. 33

  3. Dante, Inferno, Canto XI Narrate 

  4. Shakespeare, The Taming of the Shrew, Act III Narrate

  5. Psalm 14 Narrate

  6. Ben, Duolingo German, 30 minutes

Day 15: 

  1. Fides et Ratio, 9-12. Narrate each reading

  2. Senior Thesis, Presentation Practice, pp. 34-35

    1. Read p. 34 carefully

    2. Pick one of the sources you identified in the exercise yesterday

    3. As directed, choose a selection of about 250 words

    4. Fill in the blanks at the bottom of p. 35

    5. Practice reading the selection you have chosen aloud until you are comfortable with it

    6. Make a video of yourself presenting this selection and send it to me
